Dr. Amanda Haage

Amanda was a Post Doc in our lab from 2014-2019.
She was the first person in our lab to work on mice!

Rohan was a Post Doc in our lab from 2015-2020.

Dr. Michael Fairchild

Mike was the first person to work in our lab and was our lab tech from 2008-2012. He was then a PhD student from 2012-2018.

Mike is currently a post doc in Len Zon's lab in Boston's Children hospital and the department of stem cell and regernerative biology at Harvard University. 


Dr. Stephanie Ellis

Stephanie did her PhD in our lab from 2009-2015. She worked on the regulation of integrins during morphogenesis.

Stephanie is currently is post doctoral fellow in the lab of Elaine Fuchs in the rockefeller university in NYC. You can find her on twitter at @s__ellis
Katie Goodwin

Katie did her MSc in our lab from 2013-2016. She worked on the role of integrin regulation in changing the biophysical parameters that control morphogenesis. 

Katie is curently a PhD student in the lab of Celeste Nelson in Princeton.
Emily Lostchuck

Emily did her MSc in our lab from 2013-2016. She worked on the role of Talin in Morphogenesis.

Emily is currently completing medical school at the University of British Columbia 
Pablo Lopez-Ceballos

Pablo was an MSc student in the lab 2013-2016. He worked on the regulation of integrin turnover. 

Pablo went on to obtain another masters degree in education and is pursuing his passion for teaching working as a teacher back in spain. 
Katrín Hákonardóttir

Katrin was a MSc student in the lab 2012-2015. She worked on the regulation of integrin turnover.

Katrin is currently back in iceland working as a research scientist at the University of Iceland.
Fayeza Islam

Fayeza was an MSc student in the lab from 2012-2015 and then worked briefly as our lab tech.

Fayeza is curently a research associate at STEM CELL Technologies
Chris Smendziuk

Chris was a PhD student in the lab 2010-2015 working on the role of gap junctions in mediating soma germline communication.

Chris  is currently a Scientific and Applications Specialist at abm (Applied Biological Materials)
Alexander (Addi) Perkins

Addi was an MSc student in the lab 2011-2013. He worked on the role of integrins in maintaining muscle function.

Addi is currently a Clinical Trial Manager at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in London UK. 
Stefan Czerniecki

Stefan was an MSc student in our lab from 2010-2013 working on integrin turnover in muscles.

After completing his Msc stefan worked as research assistant at the Universtiy of Washington in Beno Freedman's lab. He is currently attending medical school.
Lin Yuan

Lin was the first MSc student in the lab (2009-2011) and set up our work on integrin turnover. 

After completing her MSc in our lab Lin worked briefly as a tech in David Bilder's lab at UC Berkeley and then completed a PhD in Randy Schekman's lab also at UC Berkeley. She is currently a post doctoral fellow in David Julius's lab at UCSF.
Alexander Morin

Alex was a long time undergraduate student in the lab (2011-2012) working as a co-op and as a project student. He made important contributions to our work on integrin turnover in muscles.

Alex then went on to work in the Kobor lab at the CMMT in UBC and is currently working on his PhD in bioinformatics in Paul Pavlidis's group at UBC.
